Dr. John A. Bennett, M.D. is a physician-entrepreneur with more than four decades of experience building companies in healthcare, medical technology, international manufacturing, and global business development. He is the founder and president of Devon International Group (DIG), a diversified enterprise focused on healthcare services, medical devices, technology, and international trade.

Dr. Bennett began his medical career in 1978 as an emergency physician at Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania. Within three years he was elected to the hospital's Medical Executive Committee and later served as Director of Emergency Services and President of the Medical Executive Committee.

In 1984 he founded ATI Centers, a network of outpatient diagnostic imaging and rehabilitation facilities across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The company rapidly expanded and, in 1997, Dr. Bennett successfully exited ATI Centers, marking a significant liquidity event. The platform later evolved into Devon Health Services, which became the largest privately owned Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) in the Northeastern United States, providing healthcare coverage for more than 3 million lives. Through this platform he also worked with Union Labor Life Insurance Company to develop healthcare programs serving labor organizations nationwide.

Dr. Bennett later expanded into medical technology and manufacturing through Devon Medical Products, which designs and distributes medical devices used in vascular therapy, wound care, orthopedic rehabilitation, and physical medicine. Products developed and distributed through Devon include sequential compression devices, lymphedema therapy systems, negative pressure wound therapy, cold therapy systems, orthopedic bracing, muscle stimulators, and orthopedic hardware, manufactured and distributed through global partnerships.

In 2005 Dr. Bennett founded Devon IT, an IBM Business Partner that became one of the world's leading providers of thin-client computing systems through strategic partnerships with Lenovo and Dell, supplying enterprise computing platforms to large institutions and corporate clients.

Dr. Bennett has also developed international partnerships with global trading companies including Itochu Corporation, which collaborated in the development of advanced healthcare technologies, including a robotic chemotherapy compounding system designed to improve safety and efficiency in oncology drug preparation.

During the COVID-19 pandemic he launched a clinical laboratory focused on diagnostic testing and has since been developing new medical technologies focused on advanced wound therapy and sports injury recovery systems.

Beyond his commercial ventures, Dr. Bennett has pursued philanthropic initiatives aimed at economic development. He founded Seacoach Boat Company Limited in Sierra Leone, a program designed to increase transportation opportunities in Western Africa. There are presently over 100 boats moving people and goods. This has created thousands of jobs.

Dr. Bennett also serves on the Board of Drexel University College of Medicine, supporting innovation in medical education and translational research.

Through Devon International Group, Dr. Bennett continues to develop companies and technologies that connect healthcare innovation, global manufacturing, and international commerce.

Larry Wang is a senior executive with over 20 years of experience in global supply chain management, 18 years of expertise in sales and marketing for the energy equipment and healthcare industries, and 10 years of proven success leading and managing U.S. business operations.

Jamie Summer is an accomplished global sourcing executive with more than 25 years of experience managing manufacturing, supply chain operations, and strategic sourcing throughout China. She has extensive experience leading international procurement projects for advanced energy technologies, industrial equipment, and battery systems.

She is recognized for building long-term manufacturing partnerships, negotiating complex supply agreements, and leading multidisciplinary teams that deliver high-quality products on schedule and within budget. She brings a strong technical understanding of lithium battery technologies, battery energy storage systems (BESS), manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and international logistics.

Jamie currently serves as Vice President of Devon Energy Solutions, overseeing supplier development, strategic sourcing, manufacturing relationships, and project execution for global energy infrastructure projects.

Peter Belkin has worked every side of the interconnection process — inside the utility, inside the study, inside the protection scheme, and inside the design.

He spent nearly sixteen years as a Principal Engineer at American Electric Power, one of the largest transmission owners in the United States. That is the part of his background that matters most to Devon's clients. Peter didn't learn how a utility evaluates a project by submitting applications to one; he learned it as the engineer on the other side of the table, working the planning and engineering process from within.

He then took that perspective outward. As a Senior Utility Advisor at Electric Power Engineers, he worked the interconnection and system study side of the market. At Shermco Industries he worked protection, testing, and commissioning — the physical layer where relay settings and coordination either hold up or they don't. He has since engineered substation and transmission facilities at Electrical Consultants, Inc.

That sequence is the reason Devon can do what it says it does. Reverse-engineering an interconnection means knowing what a utility's engineering group needs to see, in what form, and why — and knowing which project configurations answer a problem the utility already has. Peter has stood in all four of those positions.

Peter holds an MS in Electrical Engineering (Power) and a BS in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University.

David Belkin is a principal of Grid Avec, the energy company whose leadership team partnered with The Devon International Group to form Devon Energy Solutions.

A U.S. Marine with over fifteen years of service in military intelligence, David built a career on a specific discipline — assembling a complete picture from incomplete information, and giving decision-makers something they can act on under pressure. Interconnection is that same problem. Queue positions are opaque, utility planning is fragmentary and forward-looking, and the constraint that kills a project is rarely the one named in the study. Devon's approach to speed-to-power is that discipline applied to the grid.

He holds his work to Buckminster Fuller's core question: how do we make this work for everyone? In this business that isn't an abstraction. The interconnections that get approved are the ones where the developer gets power, the utility solves a problem it already had, and the system comes out stronger. Projects built to work for only the party submitting them are the projects that wait.

Before building his companies, David spent a decade in fine dining, including time with the Alinea Group in Chicago — an experience that shaped his belief that precision, preparation, and attention to detail are what separate good from exceptional. It is the same conviction that drives Devon to engineer the interconnection before the site plan, not after it.
